A wish begins with hope
One of our major support initiatives for Make-A-Wish in 2020 was their Trailblaze Challenge. Trailblaze is a 26 mile endurance hike, but the real challenge is to raise much needed funds to grant the wishes of children in Eastern North Carolina who are suffering with critical illnesses.
When Sequence asked, our team responded in a big way. By January, 14 our team members had stepped up to accept the physical challenge, forming one of the largest corporate teams in the history of the event! When the pandemic arrived in March, it presented an entirely new challenge for our team. Many planned fundraisers had to be canceled, and ultimately the event itself was converted to virtual.
However, our team never lost their enthusiasm, or their commitment to raise as much as possible for the children of Eastern North Carolina. In 2021, both the Northeast and Southeast teams participated in the Make A Wish Trailblaze Challenge. Despite the unexpected challenges of a global pandemic, Sequence and the Sequence Trailblaze team raised over $25,000 for this fantastic cause!
